Soon Lain's guiding principle has been
one in which creativity and technical excellence has enabled
product quality perfection. In 1985, to perpetuate this legendary
excellence, Soon Lain created its gloves which enjoyed phenomenal
success among its many customers all over the world.
When Soon Lain commenced operations in 1981, its gloves were
all handmade. However, under the leadership of its Managing
Director and founder, Mr Daniel Lee and through research and
development, machines were brought in and constantly modified
and upgraded to what it is today, a highly sophisticated computer
controlled plant that runs round the clock to produce tailor-made
gloves on a large scale while maintaining consistent high quality.
In 1984 when the company was incorporated as Soon Lain Gloves
Manufacturer Pte Ltd, its assets has boosted from a mere 3 machines
to a total of 200 machines to-date and with further plans to
expand production capacity, already in process as can be seen
by the company’s branching out to Malaysia to set up Soon
Lain Gloves Manufacture Sdn Bhd.
The largest glove manufacturer in Singapore, Soon Lain has established
its distribution channels to the various international markets
such as USA, Japan, Canada, France, Italy and the Middle East.
Also, having been awarded ISO9002 in 2000, Soon Lain is reputed
for efficiency and high standards of product quality which are
appreciated by its customers from the many different industrial
sectors such as manufacturing, electronics and aviation industries.
Striving for excellence is an on-going process for Soon Lain.
In order to supply reliable and cost-efficient products to meet
the expectations of today's market, Soon Lain has been pursuing
continuous improvement programs and investing in quality control
activities and in research and development. As with any company
that foresees continued growth, Soon Lain has high hopes for
the future.
